Titled Polish Science and International Mobility Meetup New York, the event will be held at the Consulate General of Poland in NYC, at 3 p.m. local time on Thursday,  reporters were told.

All members of America’s Polish scientific diaspora, from professors to PhD students and science lovers, are invited to share their experiences, connect with conference partners and discuss Polish science, according to officials.

Part of the Research in Poland campaign, the meeting will also offer participants an opportunity to learn more about mobility programs for researchers and about funding institutions, officials said.

The event at the Consulate General of Poland has been organised by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), in cooperation with the Polish Cultural Institute New York.

The meetup will be conducted in English and registration is still open, organisers said.
