Pollster CBOS said trust in Hołownia was stable compared with a similar survey a month earlier.

At the same time, 31 percent of respondents said they did not trust Hołownia, an increase of 3 percentage points from a month earlier, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

President Andrzej Duda and Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski, a former presidential candidate, both tied for the second-most trusted politician in the country, with 46 percent of those surveyed expressing confidence in each of them, the CBOS poll found.

Meanwhile, conservative leader Jarosław Kaczyński is the most distrusted politician in the country, according to the survey.

Fifty-eight percent of respondents said they distrusted Kaczyński, CBOS reported.

The survey was carried out from January 11 to 21 on a representative sample of 1,015 adults.
