The new rankings come after the 27-year-old Pole this month reached the third round of the women’s singles at the Wimbledon tennis championships in London, where she succumbed to two-time winner Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic.
Meanwhile, rising Polish tennis star Iga Świątek has moved up a notch to a career-high 61st place in the new WTA rankings, which were released on Monday.
The Polish 18-year-old was eliminated from the Wimbledon women’s singles in the first round by Switzerland’s Viktorija Golubic.
Poland's Świątek last year won the Girls' Singles title at Wimbledon.
