The Poles next take on the Czech Republic in a group D game on Monday.

Poland, managed by Belgian coach Vital Heynen, kicked off their campaign in the championship with a 3-1 win against Estonia on Friday.

The tournament is being held in four countries: Belgium, France, the Netherlands and Slovenia. It started on Thursday and runs until September 29.

Poland are one of the world's strongest teams. They won the Volleyball Men's World Championships last year and are ranked No. 4 by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).
