Gold, bronze for Poles at Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Finland

Sweden’s Moa Hansson took the silver, finishing a hair’s breadth ahead of Kaleta on Tuesday.

Hundreds of young athletes are taking part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Vuokatti. The event started on Tuesday and runs until Sunday.

Skinder, 19, is an up-and-coming cross-country skier from the eastern Polish town of Tomaszów Lubelski.

In November, she finished 16th in the sprint classic during the Ruka Triple event in Finland, posting her career-best World Cup result.
