Gold and silver for Poles at European Taekwondo Championships

Poles have won a gold and a silver at the European Taekwondo Championships in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia.

Aleksandra Kowalczuk finished runner-up in the over-73 kg category on Sunday, the last day of the competition.

Meanwhile, Poland's Karol Robak took the gold in the under-74 kg category on Saturday.

He is the first Polish man to win the European championships for seniors. On his way to gold he overcame five rivals. (PAP)
