Polish judoka wins at grand slam tournament in Russia

Poland's Agata Ozdoba-Błach on Thursday won the gold at a judo grand slam tournament in Kazan, Russia, in the under-63 kg category.

In the final, Ozdoba-Błach beat Beijing Olympics bronze medallist Ketleyn Quadros of Brazil.

Earlier, the Pole defeated Russia’s Ekaterina Valkova in the semi-final.     

The Kazan Grand Slam tournament ran from May 5 to 7.
