Silver, two bronzes for Poles at Tokyo Paralympics

Team Poland won three more medals at the Tokyo Paralympic Games on Wednesday, taking the country's total medal haul so far to 18.

Róża Kozakowska won the silver in the women's F32 shot put event, to add to a gold she earned earlier in the Games.

Meanwhile, swimmer Oliwia Jabłońska took the bronze in the women's S10 400m freestyle event, and table tennis players Rafał Czuper and Tomasz Jakimczuk added another in the men's Classes 1-2 team competition.

Poland has so far won 18 medals at the Tokyo Paralympics, three gold, five silver and 10 bronze.

Polish disabled athletes are competing in 12 sports in Japan, including para-athletics, table tennis, swimming, weightlifting and kayaking.

Poland won 39 medals and finished 10th in the overall medal standings at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Polish Radio is a media partner of the Polish team at the Tokyo Paralympics, which run until Sunday.
