The 24-year-old Pole, coached by American Craig Boynton, last week reached the quarterfinals of the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament at Indian Wells, California.

Hurkacz last month won his fourth ATP singles title by beating Spain's Pablo Carreno-Busta in the final of the Moselle Open tennis tournament in the French city of Metz.

The Polish player in April won the men's singles at the Miami Open, a major US tournament sometimes referred to as "the fifth Grand Slam."

Meanwhile, countryman Kamil Majchrzak has retained his No. 119 spot in the latest rankings released on Monday by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).

Serbia’s Novak Djokovic remains No. 1 in the ATP ranking, followed by Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas.
