Thanks to capturing her fifth WTA singles title, Świątek will advance two places to world No. 2 when the Women's Tennis Association releases its new rankings on Monday.

Świątek will equal former world No. 2 Agnieszka Radwańska as the highest-ranked Polish tennis player in history.

Also, the win means the 20-year-old Pole, coached by countryman Tomasz Wiktorowski, extended her winning streak to 11 consecutive matches and two consecutive WTA 1000 titles of the season.

Świątek last month won the Qatar Open tennis tournament in Doha to claim her second WTA 1000 title and her fourth career singles title.
