Football: Poland move up to No. 26 in FIFA rankings

Poland have moved up two spots to No. 26 in the latest world football rankings, which were released after a series of World Cup playoffs.

Brazil are at the top of the FIFA rankings, followed by Belgium, who finished third at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

World champions and UEFA Nations League winners France are at No. 3, ahead of Argentina in fourth spot.

Brazil 🇧🇷 return to the 🔝, five years after they were last there.

The March 2022 table is not only a new chapter in rankings history, but it will be used to calculate the seeds for tomorrow's FIFA #WorldCup Qatar 2022 Final Draw.

The 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar from November 21 to December 18.

Poland in 2017 had climbed to No. 5 in the FIFA table, the best result for the Polish team since the world football governing body’s ranking was launched in 1992.

Poland's lowest place in the world rankings was 78th, in 2013.
