The Polish top seed saw off the former top-ranked Belarusian player 6-4, 6-1 in the third round of the women's singles in the Italian capital on Thursday, tallying her 25th consecutive victory.
Świątek, who is defending her title at the clay-court tournament in Rome, will now face Canadian Bianca Andreescu for a place in the semifinals.
The 20-year-old Pole last month won the Stuttgart Open tournament in Germany, claiming her seventh career singles title.
