"The premiere of the EuroBasket 2025 logo reminds us that the tournament is fast approaching," said Radosław Piesiewicz, head of the Polish Basketball Association (PZKosz).

"The Polish national basketball team is on a roll, so we are counting on another great result during the European Championships, the group stage of which will be held in Katowice," said Piesiewicz, who also heads the Polish Olympic Committee (PKOl).

The EuroBasket 2025 tournament will be held in four countries, Poland, Finland, Cyprus and Latvia.

Games in the group stage will be played in August and September 2025 at the Spodek Arena in the southern Polish city of Katowice, and will be contested by a total of 24 teams, including Poland.

The knockout stage will be hosted by Latvia.

Poland finished fourth at last year's EuroBasket tournament, which was jointly hosted by the Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy and Germany.
