With their victory over Canada, Grbić's men extended their winning streak in official matches to 26, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

The 2024 Men's Volleyball Nations League finals will take place in Łódź, central Poland, from June 27 to 30, with the Polish team aiming to defend its title.

The head of the Polish Volleyball Association (PZPS), Sebastian Świderski, has said that this year's Nations League finals will serve as the last stage of preparations for the Olympic Games in Paris, which begin on July 26.

The Polish team is a strong contender in international volleyball. It clinched the 2023 Nations League title with a 3-1 victory in the final against the USA.

The Poles last year won the Men's European Volleyball Championship by defeating Italy 3-0 in the final in Rome.

Poland won world championship titles in 2014 and 2018 and finished runners-up in 2022.
