He is partnered by Irina Zhytynska, a soloist of opera companies in Madrid, Vienna and Wrocław, in the part of Charlotte.

The National Opera orchestra is conducted by its new Music Director Patrick Fourniller.

Massenet’s Werther is loosely based on Goethe’s epistolary novel The Sorrows of Young Werther. It was premiered in Vienna in 1892.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, performances at the National Opera are held with only half of the seats available to audiences.

The Warsaw opera house, one of the largest in Europe, has an auditorium seating over 1,700.
