The first courses teaching the Polish language in India were offered by Delhi University in 1968. Now it can also be learnt at Manipal University in the south-western state of Karnathaka.
This is a private institution with active partnership with more than 220 leading universities around the globe - including Poland's National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). One of its teachers is Justyna Guziak, who spoke to Radio Poland's Danuta Isler.
