A major exhibition of Polish art, Young Poland: An Arts and Crafts Movement (1890–1918), has been on display at the William Morris Gallery in London for several weeks.
A massive stained-glass window designed by Polish artist and playwright Stanisław Wyspiański will be one of the centerpieces of the exhibition at Londons William Morris Gallery.

In an interview with Radio Poland, the exhibition's co-curator Andrzej Szczerski says he is more than happy with the response to the show.

“During the first weekend, it attracted about 500 visitors and there was a substantial article in The Sunday Times magazine by Waldemar Januszczak, accompanied online by his highly positive film about the exhibition," said Szczerski, who is director of the National Museum in Kraków, southern Poland.

"What more could we ask for?" he added.
