The event, known as European Literature Night, aims to bring some of Europe’s brightest literary talents to New York audiences, according to the Polish Cultural Institute in New York.
Critically acclaimed authors as well as translators and actors representing Poland, Ukraine and nine other EU countries will read excerpts from new works and beloved classics and participate in a panel discussion, the institute said on its website.
The panel discussion will explore the topic of literature and peace, according to the institute.
Participants will include award-winning Polish poet Krystyna Dąbrowska.
