Women’s handball: Poland loses to Romania

Poland lost 24-28 to Romania in their second match of the women’s 2020 European handball championships in Kolding, Denmark, on Saturday.

The Polish team dominated in the first half (15-11), but struggled in the second, ultimately going down to defeat by a score of 24-28, Poland’s PAP news agency reported.

On Thursday, Poland lost 22-35 to Norway in their first match of the tournament.

The Poles will take on Germany in a final match of the preliminary round on Monday.

Sixteen European teams, including defending champions France, are competing in the event in Denmark, which runs until December 20.
