The researchinpoland website aims to enable English-language researchers to find key information "on grants, scholarships, scientific events, vacancies and projects" in Poland.

According to NAWA, the "campaign aims to present the achievements of Polish science and to promote Poland as an attractive country for conducting research and developing a scientific career."

The initiative's key partners are the National Science Centre in the southern city of Kraków, the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR), and the Polish Science Contact Agency in Brussels.

NAWA was established in 2017 to coordinate state activities to help Polish academic and research institutions go international.
