Poles to vote in general election on October 13

President Andrzej Duda on Tuesday decided Poland’s general election will take place on October 13. Earlier he said he was in favour of holding the ballot at the earliest possible date in order to keep campaigning short.

“President Andrzej Duda has just signed an… ordinance regarding the election to be held on October 13. It was sent to the Prime Minister’s Office so that it will be published in the official Journal of Laws,” presidential spokesman Błażej Spychalski said on Tuesday.
