The eavesdropped exchange between a Russian serviceman and his mother was published by the Ukrayinska Pravda website this week, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
Identified as Kostantin Solovyov, the soldier is first heard describing excitedly a torture technique called “Little Rose.”
'Little Rose'
Son: You can grow 21 roses on a male's body. Twenty fingers and one penis, sorry.
Mother: ok
Son: Have you seen a rose flower opening?
Mother: yes
Son: (It is) the same. One cuts skin with flesh off, all the fingers. And later you do it there (on the penis). This is what is called 21 roses on a male's body. Do you know what other torture I have seen?
Mother: Why do you say you took part in this? There were FSB [Russian security service] people torturing?
Son: Well, we captured POWs, we transported them...
Mother: Well
Son: And while we were waiting for the commanders of torture cells, we held POWs, we beat POWs severely, we broke their legs so they could not escape.
'You beat a person and his organs explode'
Son: We captured one civilian, the chief of the torture chamber said. An old civilian, and he had all the photos of our troops' locations on his phone.
Mother: Such a scum, s**t
Son: We beat that old man to death, just with batons. To death. Can you imagine? How many times, how long should it take to kill a person just with a baton? It is normally used to discipline recruits. You beat a person and his organs explode. This is how FSB tortures here.
Barbed wire
Son: There is another one type of torture, I have forgotten its name. A barrel? One puts a pipe into a person's anus, and puts a barbed wire through it.
Mom: Holy crap!
‘They are not humans’
Son: It is crystal clear. I do not feel sorry at all. I have over 20 (killed), I am already calm.
Mom: They are not humans.
