According to Poland’s National Security Bureau, this is the continuation of an assistance programme which is the fruit of the initiative of the first ladies of Poland and Ukraine launched last October.

In the first stage of the programme, Ukrainian medics were trained in Poland in helicopter medical rescue service.

In mid-December, Poland’s first lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda observed the exercises dealing with the evacuation of the wounded from the zone of military operations.
