Sikorski, who has been visiting the USA since Wednesday, shared a video on X (formerly Twitter), summarizing his trip.

In the video, the Polish FM said that, as part of the visit, he had engaged in a series of important discussions, interviews, meetings, as well as speeches at the UN.

"The United States is an essential partner for Poland and Europe. In New York, I primarily advocated for support for Ukraine. This is a crucial test of the USA's credibility as an ally," the minister emphasized.

Sikorski mentioned that he had arrived in the USA on the second anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

"I participated in discussions at the General Assembly forum and attended a conference on Ukrainian children being abducted by Russians," he added.

On Friday, Sikorski took part in the UN General Assembly session dedicated to Ukraine.

On Monday, the Polish foreign minister is scheduled to hold talks with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
