On Sunday, President Zelensky held a conversation with ambassadors of the Ukrainian UNITED-24 platform, which collects funds for Ukraine's aid. The teleconference participants included the philosopher Francis Fukuyama and historian Timothy Snyder.

Among the main problems pointed out by the Ukrainian president was the lack of a positive US Congress decision regarding further aid to Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelensky noted that if Congress does not help Ukraine, it will lose the war - and if Ukraine loses the war, further countries will be attacked in the foreseeable future.

According to Volodymyr Zelensky, Russia's actions in the coming weeks will be more and more persistent and Russia will increasingly use the argument of using nuclear weapons. The Ukrainian president emphasized that only by bringing up the atomic threats again and again can Russians put pressure on NATO countries, including the USA - by scaring the societies of these nations into making their leaders refrain from helping Ukraine.

Republican congressmen in the US have been blocking the vote on the bill regarding the $60 billion military aid package for Ukraine for several months now.

Russia first illegally invaded Ukraine in 2014 - and has occupied a significant part of the country ever since. On February 24, 2022, Moscow took things further mounting an unlawful and unprovoked full-scale invasion of Ukraine - which is the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.

Numerous reports state that since the full-scale invasion started, Russians have committed countless war crimes in Ukraine - breaking the Geneva convention on a daily basis. The list of Russia's transgressions includes regular attacks on non-military targets that killed tens of thousands of civilians, murdering and torturing war prisoners and civilians alike - as well as using forbidden weapons, including performing chemical attacks at the frontline.

Monday is day 775 of Russia’s full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine.
