Of the new cases confirmed on Tuesday, 26 were in the southwestern province of Dolnośląskie, which is home to the major city of Wrocław.
Meanwhile, 22 new infections were reported in the central region of Mazowieckie, which contains the national capital Warsaw.
The southern coal-mining region of Silesia had the third-highest number of new infections confirmed by officials on Tuesday, at 20.
The latest deaths in Poland’s coronavirus outbreak are 14 people with pre-existing medical conditions and 15 who died directly because of COVID-19, the Polish health ministry said.
On Monday, Poland confirmed one death and 73 new coronavirus infections nationwide, compared with five deaths and 133 fresh cases a day earlier.
On April 8, the country reported its highest daily toll of 954 deaths related to the coronavirus.
On April 1, the Polish health ministry confirmed 35,251 new single-day cases, the most since the pandemic hit the country early last year.
Poland's first case of coronavirus infection was reported on March 4, 2020.
1,367 in hospitals, 66,894 quarantined
The health ministry announced on Tuesday morning that 1,367 COVID-19 patients were in hospitals nationwide, 224 of them on ventilators, with a further 66,894 people quarantined for possible coronavirus exposure.
Meanwhile, 2,650,773 people have now recovered from COVID-19 throughout the country, the health ministry also said.
