The figure was slightly higher than a flash estimate of 3 percent released by the state-run statistics agency at the end of last month.

In September, the prices of consumer goods and services in Poland were 3.2 percent higher than in the same month a year earlier, according to the Central Statistical Office.

The state-run statistics agency earlier this year said it had revised its system of weights used for calculating the consumer price index in Poland in 2020.
