Norway's Halvor Egner Granerud came in runner-up in Friday's competition, maintaining his tournament lead and also staying on top of this season’s World Cup standings.

Poland’s Stoch was third halfway through the Four Hills Tournament, ahead of Kubacki in fourth place.

Stoch, a triple Olympic champion, finished runner-up in the opening event of tournament in Oberstdorf, Germany, on Tuesday, December 29.
The Four Hills Tournament, which is part of the ski-jumping World Cup circuit, features a series of four competitions taking place in Germany and Austria every year.
The next stop after Garmisch-Partenkirchen is Austria’s Innsbruck, where the world's top ski jumpers are scheduled to compete on Sunday, January 3.
The series will conclude with an event in Austria’s Bischofshofen on Wednesday, January 6.
In January last year, Kubacki became the third Polish ski jumper to claim the overall Four Hills Tournament title after soaring to victory in the final stage of the annual series in Bischofshofen.
